WHO WE ARE

BIOGRAPHY
Adam Power
Born and bred in Brisbane, Adam started his music career through a love of the Beatles which began at the time of John Lennon’s murder on December 8 1980. Shortly after this pivotal moment, Adam asked his father to teach him to play guitar, and frustrated at his attempts to handle his father’s adult size guitar at age 8, didn’t really pick it up and play seriously until age 15. In November 1989 Adam was taken along to a Bee Gees concert by his father which was the catalyst to his decision to follow a musical path. Making his way down to the front of the stage, standing directly in front of Barry Gibb, Adam credits the moment Barry looked down at him while smiling and singing You Win Again as the turning point for deciding what his future path was to be. The next day, Adam wagged school, got out his father’s guitar, and started singing, practicing, and writing songs!
